Free Classic childrens books on Amazon What is World Book Day

It is a worldwide celebration of our love for books, authors, illustrators and of course reading, which is to encourage children to venture into the world of books.  In the UK and Ireland Schools are given book tokens by National Book Tokens Ltd, publishers and booksellers to give to children.  Schools, bookshops and libraries take part in many exciting book related activities, while schools encourage children and teachers to dress up as their favorite book characters.

The children, some of whom may not have had the opportunity to own their own book yet are given the token which can buy any book without extra cash from bookshops across England and Ireland from this list.
